Rewant Prakash: I consider my time here to be a dream come true

I come from big dreams and a small town. It would have been impossible for me to attend NYU Shanghai without any financial assistance, and I consider my time here to be a dream come true. I spent my first two years living in Shanghai followed by studying abroad in Berlin and New York City. As a small town boy, I look at all of my unique and interesting experiences so far as a borrowed investment--students back home in India aren’t as lucky. They lack resources and appropriate funding, and I want to pay forward by finding the means to provide similar opportunities for them. Attending NYU Shanghai has been a magical journey, bringing me together with some of the most brilliant people I have ever hoped to come across in my life.
