Thank you for your support for our 10th Anniversary Campaign

The NYU Shanghai 10th Anniversary (2012-2022) is a big milestone we celebrate at NYU Shanghai and we thank you for being part of our 10th Anniversary campaign. As of June 1, 2023, we have far exceeded our goal and raised a total of $ 24,438,678.77. Your contribution plays a vital role in supporting causes that are close to our hearts within the community. 

Through the gifts raised by this campaign, we will prioritize areas of utmost importance, including providing scholarships and financial aid to deserving students, fueling faculty research initiatives, and supporting events that boost growth of our academic and community programs. These efforts contribute to the growth and vitality of our campus, creating an environment where our University can thrive and flourish.

The 10th Anniversary celebrates a growing university, offering 19 undergraduate majors, 7 master’s degree programs and 11 PhD programs. Students are taught by world-class faculty coming from 29 different regions and specializing in 45 academic areas, and they mix with a diverse student body with students hailing from 345 different countries and regions. After graduating, our students join an alumni community with around 2,500 members and a broader NYU Alumni Association of 600,000 members.  

In the last decade, NYU Shanghai has achieved remarkable milestones, including moving to our state-of-the-art New Bund Campus and establishing 47 academic programs that have produced over 2,500 graduates. Our intellectual community thrived through 1,300 academic events and fruitful exchanges with 1,800 visiting scholars from all over the world. Moreover, the University actively contributed to society by organizing impactful initiatives, such as wetlands cleanup, neighborhood exploration at Qiantan, and the launch of Mini Course–our innovative public online learning platform. NYU Shanghai's journey has been defined by transformative achievements, influential engagements, and an unwavering commitment to creating a positive impact for our society.
