NYU Shanghai Education Development Foundation Officially Established

For NYU Shanghai, October 29th 2014 was a red letter day. After three years of tireless effort, the NYU Shanghai Education Development Foundation was officially established with an unveiling performed by the Foundation's Chairman - Liu Yungeng, and its Executive Director - Teng Yilong. The Foundation's fundraising activities will help provide student aid and scholarships, as well as support academics and research at NYU Shanghai. 

Following the unveiling ceremony, an inaugural Foundation board meeting was held at NYU Shanghai. Topics covered at the meeting included a report on the Foundation's progress to date, its planned projects, and an overview of the Foundation budget. After the board meeting, the Foundation's establishment was announced to the public in a well-attended press conference.
